This is the debut album and the original 2016 mix of 'Clockhead'.
The Dr.Christ & The Jesus Mafia is a story of 2 brothers. 2 brothers who never had blood brothers. James Fraser is the son of my wife’s Step-Father and I am Tim Harber; son of my own mother & father. When James and I met, he was 16 years old or so. He was an excellent guitarist for his age. We instantly hit it off as both of us had similar music tastes as well as a love of comedy.
‘Clockhead’ was mostly written together. Recorded at Jerilderie Street North in Tocumwal over a couple of years. We were making it all up as we went along. Each song was vastly different form the next. ‘Deni Ute Muster’ was an attempt at royalties from Bundy Rum drinking Ute drivers that head to Deniliquin, while ‘I’ve Been A Few Places’ was our answer to the Beach Boys classic ‘California Girls’. The ‘Busking Song’ was a song anyone can sing and earn money to, and ‘I Just Wanna Go Clean My Room’ was a reflection of James’ work ethic.
